First Clinical Experiences
The Sargon Immediate Load Implant System: First Clinical Experiences.
By: Alessandro Mattiola, Roland Glauser, Peter Schärer
Eight Sargon implants have been placed in eight different patients in the maxillary anterior area.
Each implant has been provisionalized and loaded immediately after surgery. In six cases, the extraction was performed during the first surgery, and in two cases, the patient had already lost the tooth.
One implant had to be removed after four weeks, because it was not possible to stabilize the implant by further apical expansion.
The remaining seven implants have a follow-up period of 9 to 17 months with an average of 13.7 months. All seven implants are in function and without clinical symptoms.
